Oral Surgeon Focused on Precision and Patient Comfort

Dr. Alexander Takshyn was born in Ukraine and moved to Canada at the age of six, where he spent most of his childhood. His passion for sports led him to pursue a degree in kinesiology at York University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. He later earned acceptance, along with a scholarship, to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his doctoral degree in dental medicine.

Driven by a strong commitment to academic excellence and patient care, Dr. Alex continued his training through a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward Health and Nova Southeastern University. The program is recognized for its rigorous surgical training and comprehensive scope, providing advanced experience in facial trauma, head and neck reconstruction, temporomandibular joint disorders, facial cosmetic procedures, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, and the management of benign and malignant pathology.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Alex enjoys mentoring pre-dental and dental students and participating in community outreach events. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, staying active in the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
